Supporting Local Projects

The Boddhi Tree guesthouses have contributed to the following initiatives.

• Financial support to an HIV project at Sihanouk Hospital, ran by Beth Goldring
• Financial assistance for an art project by a French artist and the NGO CARE Cambodia
• Financial support towards the education costs of young students
• Providing stable jobs to trainees from Don Bosco, P.S.E., Friends, Aspecca and LCDI.
• Participation at the Mango Tree Project, www.mangotreegarden.org focusing on children at risk of developing mental health problems, especially victims of domestic violence
• Purchasing of IT equipment for MSMSS, and NGO working on male health issues.
• Organized two art exhibitions in collaboration with AFESIP, Spanish funded NGO which deals with sex trafficking and reintegration. We provided financial support and worked closely with art therapist Lydia Tan.
• Tree planting at local school and OPOT temple.
• Help to redesigned the garden at the entrance of Bhrama Kumaris Meditation center, Phnom Penh.
