Supporting the Healthcare Center for Children

The Boddhi Tree contributed to medical expenses of girls at the Healthcare Center for Children, a local NGO that protects women and children victims of kidnapping, sexual abuse and forced labor.

Five girls at the center were struggling with their studies because of eyesight problems and our contribution covered the cost of eye glasses for each of them.  The girls are thrilled with how their glasses are making lessons at school, and homework, much easier.

With the project's director we are currently exploring other ways to assist with the center's medical expenses.
