Using Produce from Cambodia’s Organic Farmers

The Boddhi Tree uses organic produce from the largest organic farmers’ network in Cambodia. This network is part of a project that brings knowledge and skills to over 200 farmers and helps connect them to markets.

Currently there is no organic certification in Cambodia but The Boddhi Tree sees the importance of this issue and has been the first restaurant in the capital to recognize the value of serving organic produce and to support the farmers that produce them.

We have served vegetarian food and offered healthier eating options on our menu since opening in 1997. It is easy to see that our dishes are carefully crafted and prepared.  A key element is fresh, seasonal produce, and our first buy option is always local when availability permits.

We understand the importance of growing organic products naturally. It is about offering the best available produce to our guests and promoting sustainability.
