Boddhi Tree Projects

As well as providing excellent service to its guests, the Boddhi Tree seeks to contribute to the community around it. Some of our profits support several small organizations working in Cambodia.

Childsafe

Since January 2006 Boddhi Tree Guesthouses became active members of the ''ChildSafe network''. All our staff are very proud to protect the children of Cambodia and implement ChildSafe policies in their premises.

What is ChildSafe ?

ChildSafe is a network aiming at reducing child abuse in Cambodia. Cambodian taxi-drivers (motodops and tuk-tuks) guesthouses, hotels, restaurants and internet cafes are the active members of this network. ChildSafe partners have been carefully selected, trained and tested to protect the Children of Cambodia from potential abuse situations.

LCDI

LCDI work with teenagers who have dropped out of school. They have a centre in Phnom Penh and 23 centres throughout Cambodia.

When LCDI moved into their new premises in Phnom Penh, the Boddhi Tree guest houses funded the construction of new wells to supply the students with water.
